With so much to do in the morning to make it out of the house in one piece and get the kids off to school, who has time for a long beauty routine?

Well, there’s no need to spend loads of time in front of the mirror in order to put your best face forward.  By following a few quick beauty tips, you will be leaving the house looking like a million bucks.  Ok, maybe not every day, but at least you won’t look like you just rolled out of bed!

Of course, being well rested, eating well, and reducing stress are some of the best beauty tips around and will go a long way towards making your eyes look bright and your skin look healthy.  The rest just requires a little bit of makeup magic.  Just about five minutes or so in the morning is all you need to get the day started with sparkle and shine.  Read on for a few quick tips to put your best face forward!

Quick Beauty Tips to Start Your Day:

  • Always apply moisturizer to skin in the morning and at night to keep skin supple and healthy looking.  Make sure the moisturizer is formulated for your skin type.  If you use a moisturizer with an added SPF, you’ll protect your face from sun damage on a daily basis and do even more to maintain that healthy glow.
  • Apply concealer to smooth out skin.  Just a little bit of effort will get rid of any flaws and blemishes and gives you a beautiful base to work with.   Make sure to use around eyes to get rid of tired looking under-eye circles.
  • Use a quick coat of mascara to open up eyes and make them sparkle.   For those who prefer eyelash curlers, those also work well to open up eyes and extend lashes.
  • Keep it natural and don’t apply too much color.  If you want to add a little color to your eyes, that’s okay, but don’t overdo it or eyelids can look heavy.  Just use a bit of soft eyeliner pencil and smudge it across lid for a little added color.
  • A bit of blush will easily brighten up your face.  Determine what works best for your skin type – powder, cream, or gel.  Again, the object is to keep it natural looking and just apply in places where the sun would normally hit your face.
  • For supple and moisturized looking lips, use tinted lip gloss.  No need to worry about lining lips or having lipstick crack or smear throughout the day.  Lip gloss is less drying than lipstick and more natural looking.  It provides lots of shine without overdoing color.

With just a little bit of effort in the morning, and a few of these easy and quick beauty tips in your arsenal, you’ll start your day looking fresh, rested and ready to take on the world!
